I’ve finally decided to set up a blog to talk about music, my life, stories and share what I do with the world / whoever is intrigued enough to read it. I’ll talk about the cool stuff I do, the uncool stuff that no one sees, the things I do behind the scenes, my side of the story when i’m on stage; talk about my adventures around the world and talk about my day to day life. It’ll be fun!

I’m just here to put all my ideas in one place and talk about songs and what happens to me! It might be a great read, it might fall flat on it’s ass. Anyway, yeah. I’d love it if you could join me!

I’m Joel. I’m 24. I’m a singer songwriter from Manchester. I’ve been writing songs since I was 4 when I cycled around outside my parents house humming ideas for songs to myself way before I could play or sing. Recently I managed to work myself up to the position where I could quit the day job to follow music (and film-making – I’m a part time videographer) full time. I am an unsigned, (until recently) self managed, self funded, ‘writes all his own tunes’ touring musician who’s been chasing this as a career for two and a half years now.
